Halftime Report: Raiders force three turnovers, trail Bucs by 4

The Buccaneers dominated the first 15 minutes, but the Raiders scored 10 consecutive points in the second quarter to enter halftime facing a one-score deficit, 14-10.

Here are some first-half takeaways:

Bucs Dominate First Quarter

Tampa Bay got off to a fast start with two touchdowns on its first two possessions. The Raiders defense didn't have much of an answer for quarterback Baker Mayfield (8-of-9 for 92 yards and a touchdown) or Rachaad White (5 carries for 39 yards). The Bucs gained 8.1 yards per play over their first two possessions.

Offensively, the Raiders punted on both of their first-quarter possessions and generated just 14 yards of offense in the first 15 minutes.

Defense Forces Three Turnovers

After a big performance against Kansas City last week, defensive end K'Lavon Chaisson came up with another impact play Sunday, intercepting Mayfield early in the second quarter.

A mishandled snap exchange on the ensuing play gave the ball back to Tampa Bay, but the Raiders defense took it away again just four plays later.

Linebacker Amari Burney got to Mayfield for a strip-sack and safety Tre'von Moehrig recovered the fumble – the Raiders' first fumble recovery of the season.

Quarterback Aidan O'Connell and the offense then took advantage. Completions to Brock Bowers (12 yards) and Michael Mayer (29 yards) moved the ball inside the five-yard line and O'Connell eventually found the end zone on a quarterback run behind his offensive line.

The third turnover, a Jack Jones interception, ended the half.
